For booked jobs during standard hours there is no separate call-out fee — the price quoted is the price you pay. For after-hours emergency callouts a small surcharge applies, which we always disclose before we dispatch a plumber.

Anything that risks damage to your property, your health, or your safety. This includes burst pipes, severe leaks, no hot water, gas leaks, overflowing toilets, blocked sewer lines, flooding, and water that cannot be shut off. If in doubt, call us — we will help you triage over the phone.

A modest after-hours surcharge applies to genuine emergency callouts outside standard business hours. The total price is always disclosed before we dispatch — there are no surprise charges added to your invoice.

The most common causes are tree-root intrusion (very common in older Sydney suburbs with clay pipes), grease and fat build-up, “flushable” wipes, hair, food scraps, foreign objects, sagging or cracked pipe sections, and heavy stormwater overloading the system.

CCTV drain inspection inserts a waterproof camera into the drain to visually inspect the inside of the pipe. It pinpoints the exact location, type and severity of any blockage or damage — which is critical before quoting repairs and essential for pre-purchase inspections.

Pipe relining is a no-dig repair that inserts a resin-impregnated liner into the damaged section. Once cured, it forms a new pipe inside the old one. Properly installed liners carry a 50-year design life and a manufacturer warranty.

Avoid flushing wipes (even “flushable” ones), keep grease and food scraps out of the kitchen sink, fit drain strainers, and book a scheduled CCTV inspection if your property has mature trees or older clay pipework.

It depends on your household size, fuel availability and budget. Gas continuous-flow units suit families on mains gas; electric storage tanks suit smaller homes; solar and heat-pump systems offer the lowest running cost over time. We will recommend the right system based on your usage and your existing connections.

For repairs, most jobs are completed same-day if the parts are in stock. Full replacement installs are typically completed the same or next business day, including the removal of your old tank.

Yes. Removal and responsible disposal of your old hot water unit is included in every replacement install. No extra fee, no extra trip required.

Yes. We are fully qualified for both natural gas (reticulated mains supply) and LPG (bottled gas). We service Sydney homes connected to either system.

Yes. We use electronic gas detectors and pressure testing to pinpoint leaks inside walls, under floors, and at fittings that are not visually accessible. Every detected leak is repaired and re-tested before we close out the job.

At least twice a year. Homes near trees, in the Northern Beaches, the Inner West, or in storm-prone areas should book quarterly cleans, especially before the Sydney storm season (October–March).

Absolutely. Blocked gutters force water back under the roof sheeting and into the cavity, causing ceiling stains, mould, timber rot and electrical hazards over time. Regular cleaning is the cheapest insurance against costly internal damage.

Yes. We reseal joints, replace damaged sections, refit brackets, and re-pitch sagging runs so water drains properly to the downpipes.

Yes. We rough-in and fit off all plumbing for new bathrooms — including waste lines, hot and cold water lines, taps, showers, baths, toilets, vanities and floor wastes. We coordinate with your tiler, waterproofer, builder and electrician.

Yes. We install all white-goods that require water connections, including dishwashers, washing machines, ice-making fridges and water filters. We test for leaks before we leave site.

Yes. All Jayco workmanship is backed by a written warranty. Standard repairs carry a 12-month workmanship warranty and new installations carry the full manufacturer warranty on the product plus our workmanship guarantee.
